Subject: Ants on a Log?

Talking about kids foods--the only way I could get my kids to eat celery when they were little was to make this goofy concoction. You take a celery stick, smear peanut butter into the hollow part and then they kids would put raisins on top to look like ants. Gross I thought but they liked them.

Steak sandwiches in the upper midwest are different than both of yours. Typically you get either a large bun or bread, mashed potatoes, gravy and beef slices. You put them all together and eat it with a fork. Since restaurants usually make instant potatoes and use canned gravy, I rarely eat them when dining out, but I will make them at home using "real" ingredients.
