"That little alien ingrate!" she thinks. "How dare he organize a strike! After all I've done for him!" She looks out the window again and gasps. "OH NO! He's got the Dancing Danas picketing with him!" Kande picks up the phone and hits #3 on the speed-dial.

"Mayor! Do you know what's happening outside the klub?" Kande listens as the mayor says that yes, indeed, she is aware of the picket line. "But aren't you going to do anything about it?"

"Why should I?" asks KM. "You are in violation of nearly all of Shipperville's labor laws. I could fine you so much you'd go out of business."

"But my customers won't cross the picket line. Which means I'm not generating any revenue...make that TAX revenue."

Kenamom is silent. Finally, she sighs. "All right. I'll send someone over to bust it up."

"Thank you. You'll find a token of my appreciation taped under your desk drawer first thing in the morning."

"I better. And listen," she says before Kande can hang up. "You might be better off letting them organize." She hangs up, then picks up the phone and punches in a number.

"I need you to bust up a picket line."
