...uhm...OF COURSE, they aren't giving you more personal life of D & R...of course, they are giving you tidbit Scully. Of course, they are playing only the safe bets. Do you not recall the last eight years of conflicting character/plot development and/or zero character/plot continuity?

That is my whole problem with XF and the main reason I am out of there. Granted I loved Mulder and Scully and I DO feel that Mulder IS the X-files...but I still WOULD have given X-Files the Next Generation a go...IF...IF...IF, CC and Co. had wrapped up X-Files the original series. If they had shown guts or creativity or just a tiny sign that they weren't so full of the idea of their own "cute genius" that they forgot what business they were in. They made a SERIOUS, hemmoraging of the show's viewership, error...and I am sorry but they deserve to have XF die for a mistake of that magnitude. The show could have gone out HIGH and they chose to limp around "trying to be clever" until we were forced to put them down like a lame horse.

CC, toyed with the core of his loyal following...he totally jerked our chain in the forlorn hope that he could keep us dangling around waiting on his next morsel of "THE TRUTH". At this point, I don't believe the TRUTH is out there...or even a glimmer in CC's head. I don't think he has the SLIGHTEST idea what he's doing from a plot stand point, nor does he have any intention of ever developing Reyes or Doggett beyond cypher characters...there is NO FLIPPIN' way that he could pull off a stunner at this point...whatever he does will be yawnable at best and is much more likely to be laughably pathetic. Now, I am happy that you are both enjoying the ride but I am nauseated enough and there is in my opinion nothing left to figure out. I finally got it CC's is playing us...and you know...NOT very well!

all worked up about the "return of DD"...I don't know if he SHOULD return even, because I DON'T think there is any revelation "out there" for his character and CC, if encouraged, will no doubt ride this pony right into the ground.
