To tell the truth, that day Brian gave me the lift, I would have gotten in a car with just about anyone to get out of the rain!! I didnt recognise him, even though Id seen the Stones at EelPie and Crawdaddy. It was sometime in January 1967 right after Id moved into my sisters old flat in London which she left soon after. I guess its coming up on an anniversary of sorts, but since I dont remember the date, its pointless. Yes, Ive always been psychic, but its a weird useless sort of psychic. Suits me though. I can sense haunts, sometimes know what people are thinking, though that could just be acute observation, and can predict the future if only I knew it was an actual psychic flash which I dont find out till after its happened and I realise I saw it.
Brian and I hit it off though, like you do with some people. I "got" him, saw that he was more than meets the eye. Let me just say that most of my friends through the years have been what others call "weird" and so am I. But theres nothing wrong with that. Brian was misunderstood, but I understood him. I think people gravitate to like sorts of people as themselves for the most part. Nothing strange in that. He was complex and a lot of people didnt have what it took to see beyond the complexities. It takes either work or a certain type of personality. It really seems simple to me.
