From a certain view point, Brian is STILL in the way.

Even though a huge number of present day Stones fans don't even know he existed, the shadow of his influence in the lives of the still living band members will always haunt them. He even haunts ABKCO. Why else would "Junior" constantly pinch videos of him off of Youtube?

Possibly a whole generation will have to pass before the Popular Music Industry can breathe freely regarding what they did to Brian Jones.
