It made sense for the Stones to re-issue the Some Girls album. It was a hugely popular album, their last masterpiece. They also had tons of excellent studio outtakes begging to be released. And they had the Fort Worth video footage that was perfect for release also.

All the Brian-era albums were remastered by ABKO years ago (and they did a very fine job, too). Re-issuing those again would have made no sense. Worse, it would have looked like a money grab (let's face it: if you bought the CDs when they came out and the remasters when they came out, would you buy the same music again?). Plus it would have meant working with ABKO, although this is something that is no longer impossible since Klein is now dead.

JMHO :)
