I finally finished my tribute to Brian Ive wanted to write for years..its also the first song Ive finished in years. This is the words.

If I had known you I would have tried to help
Your Influence gave me a sense of self
Time was on my side but not on yours
You were too refined and elegant to have been a boor
You could write and you could sing
You shined like a most precious stone in a beautiful ring.

Aquamarine so blue and amethyst so violet
If it was ahead of its time you would try it
I know you had bad problems and so did I
This is the reason I identify

You started the greatest Rock and Roll band in the World
They grow stronger as the years unfurl
Most Precious Stone I dont know what to say
Its a shame youre not still here today.

Im sure I have suitable music for these words, my musical concept for it has changed. I hope you enjoy this. Bernard
