Hi Roxanne,

To be honest, I think the producer and engineer got lazy on you. I'd redo the vocal track first off. Me thinks the producer is to enamoured with you to push you on the vocals or jealous of you and keeping you down.

Though you may have been going for a lazy comfy vocal sound, it's too laid back and the producer should have coached you on it. I viewed a live gig you did in the 90s
so I know you can bump up the vocals.

Whomever mixed it butchered the layering so much that if it were me I think I was sabotaged. First 15 seconds fine and then they didnt pay attention.

If you're satisfied with it, that's all that matters, If you were looking for something greater then head back to
NYC and reconnect with Bowery Gang and others from the day. Would be best if you could hook up with Mike Chapman (Blondie, The KnacK, it goes on.)

Good Luck
