I should have responded to your poem...I read it, and was in a hurry and didn't have time to get my thoughts together....

I feel that I understand your poem--where you were/are coming from--and that Brian most certainly had some, if not all, of these feelings at one time or another in the 7 years he was in the Stones. I really like the poem---the repetitive line of "walk a mile in my shoes" is very effective. I'm glad you posted it! I've re-read it a few times, and I get something new from it every time. :)
