I think that Brian basically taught Keith how to play the electric guitar. And not because I'm Preachin to the choir, "Brians hardcore fans", But because I read some transcripts of the lead guitar player for "The Pretty Things",He said that He and Keith were plucket out of obsuurity to be in the band name not included yet,and Brian taught them how to play in the blues scales, and how to play lead, and that at the end of 5 mo. Brian would decide which one would play the rhythem, and the other one would then be the bas player. And the gentleman name escapes me but he said that imediately Keith started "Brown Nosing" Brian, and trying to be his friend and that Keith could not play guitar any better than him but because of their friendship Brian chose Keith instead and asked him to play bas. Well this dude said heck no and founded The Pretty Things, which were very famous in the U.K. but not in the U.S.
