Here's the announcement by the person who, I guess, is the paper's editor.

The Stones were far from the only victims of this rag sheet over the years. I'm sure that there are a lot of people who are happy at this turn of events. But on the other hand, nature abhors a vacuum. In time there will be another "News of the World" with a different name to replace this one.
