On this occasion, I'd have to disagree with you!! (This is such a rare occurence that I know ye will understand.) I actually think that the tree and other assorted plantations are killing the gravesite with kindness. The rose bushes I don't mind as it brings attention to the grave of the distinguished imcumbent (and also allows gold stars to be hung thereon - yes and even a platinum one). I just think the small trees don't fit, though they are insignificant enough not to rage about them. Who are these folk anyway? I suppose when they see the Wendy house I've built to put on the footplate of the grave, they will burst a blood vessel or somethng!! Ridiculous people!

If only someone designed the Brimeister's grave in a similar way to dear Joan Fitzsimons'. Beautiful blooms spring up in dazzling colour from the flowers and shrubs planted within. Of course Mr.Jones' grave was a flowerbed at one time. It's a shame the Jones' senior didn't have the confidence in the fans to maintain that flowerbed, instead of insisting it was grassed over. I was told Louisa was upset about fans planting their flowers in the bed, so Lewis gave the order to have it grassed over.

This information did come from a very reliable source, but that don't necessarily make it true. It's possible the grave was grassed because the Jones' moved out of the area, and they may have thought it was the best way to ensure it stayed tidy. On the other hand, they may have got pissed at a particular graveside misdeamour. Or even selfishly and spitefully thought that they didn't particularly want Brian fans to enjoy the grave. Funnily enough, there is a grave (which is absolutely ancient - can't even read the name because the stone is so eroded), just a few away from Brian's grave which produces the most amazing blooms you could imagine. In the early part of the year, I actually had to touch the growing flowers to check they were real.
