Well, I have pictures of Brian with the Firebird on my desktop, and this one sure enough looks like it, but since there are few folks on earth who know the serial number...who knows? I'd check with Gibson Guitars if I were this seller. They just might have a record of the serial number for the Firebird they gave to Brian Jones. The history of what happened to it isn't as clear as with his Harmony. Has anyone else traced what happened to it after he died?

Anita P. shouldn't be a good source of that kind of information, it would never have interested her, so why would she know it? This seller would need documentation from Gibson before I'd risk bidding on this item.
