A Gerry appreciation thread like this has been long overdue here.

"The world could use more people like Gerry, and certainly it is a poorer place without her in it."

You can say that again EL! It is hard to believe it has been over six years since Gerry's passing.

I think if it was up to Gerry to be remembered for only one thing, it wouldn't be for this board or the impact it has had on Brian Jones fans on the internet all over the world.
I believe she would most want to be remembered for her love of animals. When we all were on LARS chat, she always used to speak of her two cats that she rescued, Abner and Shadow, she really loved them. I always wondered what happened to them after Gerry's passing. Hopefully they found good homes, their welfare would have been a major concern of hers.

I'm glad I got the chance to get to know her a little bit, spoke with her on the phone several times. Man, that girl should have wrote a book! She went into quite a bit of detail about her meetings with Brian, amazing that Brian walked right into her workplace in 1969, how awesome was that?

Gerry was all those things EL said about her and I'll also add she was cool as hell! I really miss her.
