Brian definately wanted out of the band. He was very saddened and frustrated by the direction they were taking, and I think he got bored. I cant say for sure, but knowing how he was, I think he just tuned them out at a point and showed up because he had to, but his heart had left a long time before. He told me at Cotchford that he had finally come to an amicable parting of the ways and he was looking forward to getting back to his own thing. It was mutual, as I understood it. In fact, after he told me this, he started playing something on the acoustic that might or might not have been something he was writing, but it was damn good, whatever it was! But really, we never spoke much about his work. We played. It was just that kind of friendship. We got stoned. We talked about all kinds of stuff. It was normal.
And yes, isnt Anitas "acting" atrocious? The only thing I liked her in was Performance, but she wasnt acting in that. That was all pure evil Anita!
