Anita absolutely chose Brian! From what I was told at the time, and that was after the fact, the others were terrified of her. She comes on like a freight train, all that huge mouth and pointy teeth and force of nature personality. She saw something in Brian she could dominate, and latched on. In Marrakech, while she was with Keith, I ran into her in the souks while I was with my boyfriend, who was extraordinarily goodlooking and niave to the point of paranoia, and she came onto him just to piss me off. He was completely freaked out by her and told me after that he felt like she was trying to steal his soul. She was pretty intense. Ive always seen her as a sort of succubus. She was actually afraid of me though, because Im as strong, if not stronger, than she is. No, I cant say we were ever friends!
