OK, lets move on then. One comment I just read saying Brian was...oh crap I cant remember and my mouse is acting up badly making it hard to switch between posts.....anyway something like him being a sad little urchin or whatever? He certainly wasnt that! Brian had a very strong personality, was stubborn and opinionated, but since I was a friend who stayed out of the limelight, he was actually pretty natural around me. I certainly miss him. I miss my dead husbands and my best friend who died of AIDS in the 90s, but its long since gone the way of being a sad thing. I mean, it was a long time ago! I remember one time we went to a pub and dropped acid. We were sitting out in the pubs garden just starting to feel the trip when these two girls suddenly recognised him and one of them actually jumped on him and brought him to the ground. She was kind of a big girl, and she kept screaming for an autograph. It was so funny, he was rolling around laughing and trying to get her off him, and I couldnt help because I was laughing too hard as well. The pub owner finally came out and tried getting the girl to stand up, but she was hanging onto Brian and wouldnt let go and the guy couldnt get her up. Her friend was jumping around screaming for an autograph as well. You really had to have been there. Finally they got the girl up and sort of hustled them away screaming like banshees and we ran out the back and to the car. Trouble was, by that time we were both too stoned to figure out how to drive so we just sat there. I kind of remember getting the car going, but have no idea how we got anywhere.
Thats the sort of thing that happened. Nothing really special, but fun. Then there were times he got depressed and cried. That wasnt fun certainly, but still, it was part of being around Brian. His moods could shift really fast, no idea if he could be considered bi polar today, so I cant comment on that. I was a kid too, remember. Since it wasnt a "relationship" I think Brian felt he didnt have to put on a persona around me. We really were kind of like two little kids, getting stoned and playing. I have to say he was a fun friend most of the time.
