Thank you, Lazlo, for your in depth post about what happened to this forum. It is sad that one cannot have opposing views on a board - and that the mods of BJFC forum deleted some of LARS posts. That certainly wasn't very fair on their part.
I have come up against Roland at times in some of the posts he puts "IN other discussions", but we usually try to unravel what has been written. I know two people almost destroyed that forum last year. I wasn't sure if it was going to continue, but it was settled peacefully in the end.
Emotions sometimes run high with some of the topics and I guess that is part of the way these things work. We're all human and can get to be "assholes" some of the time but I feel the majority of the time the posts and people are sincere and really want to "talk" about Brian and his music, life etc.
As Jesus said: "The Truth shall set you free" and that's what all of us want out of this forum and also the BJFC forum.
I'll be e-mailing Trevor some time today and ask him about the investigation. I never heard about the radio committments in any of the correspondence so I'm not sure how to proceed on that count. One thing I do know for sure is that last year Trevor had some very dear and close people who passed away - 3 to be exact and that could have played a part in why he hasn't gotten things settled.
I am his friend and will remain his friend regardless of what or what he doesn't do. Call me crazy, but I'll still trust Trevor at this point.
I respect your opinions, Lazlo, and will continue to post on both boards. I'm very fond of the members on the BJFC board. It was the first one I ever wrote on. If you look on that board occasionally - you won't find me under Teardrop but you might guess who I am!!!
