Thanks for the compliments. I do have a fancy camera - it's covered in dust though. I realised that the results of my point and shoot camera are giving a lot of people a lot of pleasure, and thought to myself this was much more satisfying than trying to become technically proficient using lots of pyrotechnic equipment. I'm very much in favour of producing rough and ready images. I'd rather be a Degas or Courbet than an Ingres or David. The thought of perfection could scare the baby Jesus out of me!

I'm glad you are proud of your photographic endeavours. I hope you can have some real snap happy days and capture some real beauts. Of course Brian was a very keen photographer and I'm sure he must have taken hundreds of pix on his travels - maybe even moving footage. Just makes you wonder if any of his work survives today, and just where it might be!!

I know you are pretty hot with the old musical instrument thingy. I'm sure it must give you a huge buzz and an enormously warm glow to possess such a sweet gift. I think I'd say your were truly blessed to inherit such talent.

The dog is called Winston.

Here's a picture of Telephone Box Man on Glastonbury Tor.
