Go on and close the curtains
'Cause all we need is candle light
You and me and a bottle of wine
Boing to hold you tonight

"Good for you... Only makes sense for you to be done though." She had had the skills and the knowledge to be done everything for some time now - it only made sense that she was fully qualified now. Despite a lack of experience (which she would be able to develop now), he didn't doubt that she would be a better lecturer than many of the other professors at that school. He was maybe a little biased though, but still. "Sometimes... Sometimes it flew by and other times it just crawled. It's actually been a pretty long year, but yeah, good trip..." He had really had an amazing time and had no regrets - except maybe that she hadn't been with him for it all. Still though, it was probably good that he had done it on his own, and there had been no way for her to go with him anyway. She had been committed to work and school, and she was more of a homebody than he was anyway. "You look great, Keila." He was so unlike her in so many ways, and yet that seemed to have been the main reason that they had clicked so well. They had always just fit together. He did manage to resist reaching out to tuck back her hair for her - though not because he didn't want to, but because he was pretty sure that that was going too far. "If I can help you with anything for your classes let me know... I have a pretty light load this semester." He actually even had the first week of classes off too - his TAs were starting things off for him at the dean's suggestion. He had only been home for a day and a half and still had a billion things to do to get himself settled..
