"Yeah, I took a few extra classes during the year just to get it done with and get the career started or whatever." She stated with a shrug, humble as always. Well, mostly as always. She had shown her excitement and pride in herself to him on occasion before. To everyone else though, she just brushed off her accomplishments, he alone had known how hard she had worked, how she studied and focused and sacrificed to get to where she was. "I bet the year flew by for you, huh?" She questioned with a small smile, though again it was weak. She knew the past year had been long for her, especially the first half when she had been so lonely and hurting. He had been off doing what he loved though and she knew time flew by when you were doing something you enjoyed. "Good trip and everything?" She shifted her bag, her eyes moving over him finally, allowing herself to take in his casual attire and healthy glow. He looked like he had a rejuvinating, refreshing time and that was good, really good. She was happy for him. He had always come off as looking well put together, even wearing just jeans and a t-shirt though, he just had those kind of looks and that kind of personality. She on the other hand, looking like a whirlwind half the time. Her lower lip tucked between her teeth, a habit that he had always teasingly scolded her for, as she gazed at him. She knew she should make some polite comment ' you look good ' or something innane like that but she just couldn't force it out. She may have been getting over the hurt and pain of losing their relationship but she wasn't that strong, nor that self sacrificing. One hand lifted from clutching her books to her chest to tuck her unruley blonde curls back behind her ear, wishing she had thought ahead to grab a hair tie.
