Go on and close the curtains
'Cause all we need is candle light
You and me and a bottle of wine
Boing to hold you tonight

He shook his head a bit and smiled slightly - he definitely didn't mind and he was just happy that she was finally doing what she had been aiming for for these past few years. He was pretty relieved actually to have a lightened load for his first term back - everything was so messy in his life right now that he could use a bit of a break to get re-organized. He was really too laid back to actually stress about the fact that he had just moved back into his apartment two days ago and that all of his things were still in boxes and strewn about, and the fact that he had yet to re-activate his cell phone or his cable or buy a new computer or even try to find his lecture notes, but they were all things in the back of his mind that he had to get sorted out sooner rather than later. When she panicked and disappeared, leaving him holding her stuff, he hardly even blinked - so used to such random outbursts from her that he just smiled a touch, grabbed his stuff as well, flicked off the lights and then trailed out after her to see about catching her wild, but oh-so-enduring pup. His smile twitched into an affectionately amused smirk as he found her in the middle of a typical Nani-Keila stand off. Even knowing that he could easily put an end to the game by calling out to Nani - 'his little girl' - he instead just set all of their stuff down in a pile on the grass and sat down on a bench to watch the pair sort things out. It was a perfect late-summer day - a cool breeze balanced out for the warm sun - and he was more than happy to just sit back and watch a pretty girl and a pretty dog romp around in the grass. With fall classes yet to start and the summer term already over, there weren't too many kids loitering around and so the usually busy quad was actually nearly abandoned...
