The huff of frustation and the sight of the pair playing stop and go had to be amusing for anyone to watch. Everytime Keila would take a step, Nani would bow down and bark, her tail wagging, eager to play chase with her mistress. Finally, Keila just plopped down onto the grass, shaking her head. "One of these days, Miss Nani, the pound is going to come and take you away. Let's see how long you run from men with nets!" She huffed at the dog who just barked in playful excitement once more. After another stand/sit off, Nani was off again, causing Keila to get up and resume chase once more. She rolled her eyes in exasperation, about to just give up, when suddenly the golden pup spotted her second favorite person in the world. With a loud yap of enthusiasm, she bounded over to Aiden, skidding to a stop so she could place two big paws on the bench on either side of him, immediately trying to snuggle her now slightly dirty body as close to him as possible. They had spent countless nights in bed, watching tv, with Nani all but laying on Aiden in the entire time - the pup adored him. "Traitor." Keila grumbled under her breath at the dog. Apparently, Nani found it pretty damn easy to forgive a year long absence. While Keila tried not to let hard feelings gather - she really did understand that her and Aiden just weren't right for another due to their ambitions in life - it was hard because she had fallen in love with the man and he had chosen to travel the world instead of stay with her. It was hard, knowing she wasn't enough for someone. She'd never really been in love before Aiden and it kind of made her feel like a failure at it. Her daddy had assured her that Aiden was just not the man for her and that she would find someone, that she would be perfect at loving someone but of course he said that, he was her daddy and she had been crying and it was his job to say the right thing, not necessarily the true thing.
