"I'm sure you will settle-in in no time." She stated with a reassuring smile before she glanced away again. It was a little bittersweet, just sitting around talking to him and it made her wonder what exactly could be going through his mind. She understood he probably wasn't thinking anything at all of it, this was most likely just another chat with another collegue, some young one who needed guidance. In a way, it made her smile because she adored how he was always wanting to help someone, mentor someone, share his knowledge. She loved that about him but in some ways, when she thought he looked at her like that, she just wanted to scream. She wanted to point out that they had slept together, that she wasn't just another student to him, that she had loved him and she had wanted him to love her back. However, she had never been that bold with him, never said anything along those lines to him. Even when they had been breaking up she had just smiled with tears in her eyes and told him she understood, that he should go do whatever would make him happy. He just didn't understand how much it had destroyed her childlike innocence and confidence in herself that she wouldn't make him happy. Her eyes dropped down to the golden in his lap, thinking that the dog had it much easier. She just knew Aiden was back and now she was happy. When her eyes lifted to his face, she gazed at him for a moment with thoughtful eyes before those same eyes glistened with the hint of a resolve. She just wouldn't let herself fall for him again. She wanted passion, she wanted romance, she wanted rendezvous in closets and she wanted someone to say that they couldn't breathe without her. She wanted to kiss in the rain and laugh until she cried. She wanted a man she could talk too about anything, which she could with Aiden, but she didn't want to be in a friendship with some sexual benefits. She was to young to have a solid love built on quiet nights watching jeopardy. She wanted a passionate, crazy, head over heels love based on everything. With that resolve in her mind, her list of what she wanted, she was able to look back to him and tip her head, brushing her hair back before she reached into her purse to grab two pencils, twisting her hair up with them in a messy bun. "So there are some other new TA's around here, lots of new younger proff's like me, too. You'll have to meet everyone soon."
