Subject: You came along and you cut me loose

It evened out really, he hesitated to ask and she hesitated to answer. His question remained unanswered before whistled to Nani, calling the dog over to her so she could clip on the leash before she turned to look at Aiden, once more rather thoughtful about it all. "Sure." It was a simple answer, really and shouldn't have taken her so long to think of but she just hadn't been able to decide what she thought about 'hanging out' with him. She had just decided that she wasn't going to pursue rekindling their relationship and she just wasn't sure if they were friendship material. "We were good friends before, wouldn't you say that, Aiden?" She questioned suddenly, in her usual slightly random manner as she looked up at him. She had grabbed her bag already and tucked everything into it before tossing it over her shoulder, her binder in the other arms crook and Nani's leash wrapped around her wrist. She looked a little dishelved but that was a normal look for her and it seemed to work out alright. No one ever critisized her for it at least. She had been waiting for the staff at the school to tell her she needed to look more professional but the reprimand never came. Her sunglasses were perched ontop of her head so she was squinting as she looked up at him, not quite willing to start walking until he had answered her question honestly. She needed his opinion before she made any further decisions. She'd already agreed to lunch but that was ok. If his answer wasn't what she was thinking it would be then they would just talk about his trip and her school and it would be a very casual acquaintence-y type luncheon. No big deal at all.
