He frowned softly, his hands shoved into the pockets of his slacks after he had thrown his bag over his shoulder. "I was under the impression you two were through." He stated bluntly, lifting his eyes up to the man who seemed to be everyone's favorite guy. "Not quite fair to her to keep dropping and picking her up again, you know what I mean? She could use a guy who will be there for the long haul..." His eyes dropped to the floor for a moment before he stopped suddenly, looking up at Aiden with a raised brow and a serious expression. "I've been wanting to be that long haul guy for her for awhile now, Aiden. I didn't pursue her years ago because you guys were together and I have to much respect for both of you to play games like that but now..." He shrugged a little, his eyes moving over the other man's face. "I've been making some real progress with her and I just wanted you to know, straight up and man to man, that I am not going to back off now just because you are back around. When you guys broke up, it was an open door for me, you know?" His voice wasn't exactly confrontational but he was being blunt and honest with the other man, letting him know exactly what was going on in his head and in his heart when it came to the blonde beauty teaching just a few doors down. He'd fallen for the girl a long time ago and recently - before Aiden had made his reappearance - he had really felt like he was starting to win her over.
