He did feel a touch guilty because he knew that, nevermind anything else, Tommy was still a friend of Keila's, so he felt a little bit for quarreling with one of her friends... But it had been pretty much unavoidable given how the other man had approached him. He didn't take it as an insult to be called a realist or grounded - it was a simple observation that anyone who knew him even a little bit would be able to make. He had seen too much in his his international experiences to live his life with his head in the clouds, but at the same time he didn't think that meant that he couldn't learn to meet his dreamer of a girl halfway. Relationships were about compromise, right? He ran a hand slowly over his head, glancing down the hall briefly before looking back to Tommy again. "Don't hold your breath... Don't spend your whole life waiting." He muttered just as Tommy turned, watching the other man head down the hall before retreating in to his office to try and get his morning back on track. His feathers were a little ruffled maybe, but he had a couple hours still before meeting his girl again for lunch, and he had things that he wanted to get done. There were things that he wanted to get done, things he needed to get done, and he didn't have time to just sit around and pout because some punk kid had told him off and reminded him of how terrible of a boyfriend he had been over the past few years.
