Subject: Pleasure that made you cry

She had absolutely no idea where he was going with this and it showed on her confused expression as he put the car into park. Her fingers were still draped over the seam on the inside of his thigh and her eyes were narrowed curiously, thinking about what he was saying. A dreamer was a pretty way of saying she was a bit of a naive ditzy blonde, she knew that, especially coming from Tommy but he always said that her 'moments' were endearing. Aiden was the exact opposite of that. He always seemed like every decision he made was so well thought out, nothing ever on impulse, no spontanous actions or things similiar that she was so well known for. In the past though, when they had been together, she had never seen that as a bad thing. In her fanciful way of thinking, she liked to picture him as the yin to her yang. He centered her, grounded her and occasionally, she set him off center and took him to the skies. Dark brown eyes searched his as he continued and she was about to speak about what she thought about Tommy's two sense when suddenly he was telling her that he loved her and all words were stolen from her lips. For the first time in her life, she had absolutely nothing to say and she could only stare blankly at him, her glossed lips slightly parted in shock. It took a few moments but finally she formed a thought and voiced it. "You've...You've never said it." She stated suddenly, as if that was just the gist of it all - the fact that he'd never said it and she had wanted so badly to be with a man who would love her better then anyone else could, who would adore her and not be able to share her with anyone else because she was that special to him. She had never thought that he would want to be that boy for her. "I've never said it." Quickly, she added on that part - they had already been through the whole conversation about how she had never said it either, so it was equally her fault the way their relationship had grown stagnent and she didn't want to see like she was playing the blame game once more. It was just..shocking to her. Not only that he had said he loved her but the way he said, it seemed so honest and passionate and impulsive and so totally not Aiden like. Added to the fact was that they were sitting in his rental car in a parking spot in front of a Thai carryout place on her lunch break - this was definitely not very Aiden like behavior.
