He smiled a bit at her easy agreement to his suggestion - he just wanted the chance to show her what he loved so much about traveling. That was when he was the sort of passionate person she longed for... When he arrived in the middle of a completely foreign town not knowing where he was going to spend the night, when he didn't speak the language but still managed to have a conversation with a local, or when he just couldn't figure out the transit system - if one even existed there. There was nothing like the feeling of handing out pens and paper to kids who didn't even have running water, or books to adults who had never learned to read. Those things were what inspired him. Otherwise he was just content in everyday life, which was okay with him. He enjoyed teaching otherwise he wouldn't do it, and he was good at it, so that was fine. At her comment about the bed, he nodded slowly, smiling still. "I bet my bed would fit in your room..." He assured her, leaving that thought hanging there as well - letting her know that he got what she was getting at, and he was on the same page. He hadn't even fully unpacked his things from boxes into his new-old apartment, any way... It seemed meant to be. "Yeah, definitely I'll go check on her. Take her for a walk and then come back to pick you up..." He assured her, then refilled his mouth with food. She was the only thing that made him feel as alive and energized as the things he did and saw when he was away places, which was why he knew he couldn't let her get away from him again.
