So the Griffs just happened to recruit a bunch of guys who genetically can’t shoot free throws ? I agree with Griffer. Maybe a little coaching might help with drills. Mitchell is going to get fouled a lot, to his credit. But then he holds the ball with two hands high over head. Of course he has zero touch.

A little coaching with drills huh? And the dreaded two hands high over your head error that bad shooters consistently make. Have you ever attended a division 1 basketball practice? Do you think they just play a pick up game and head to the cafeteria? They have shooting drill after shooting drill and then most of them stick around and shoot more and more and more.
A bunch of guys? Dinkins shoots 84.4%, Siem 83.8%, Gadsden 84.8%, Palesse 72.2%. Last year Staveskie was 87.3%. It's two guys (Mitchell and Okpoh). Big men are notoriously bad free throw shooters. Do you watch much basketball other than an occasional Canisius game? Shaquille O'Neal was a 52.7% free throw shooter and received the best coaching on the planet. Wilt Chamberlain 51.1%, Bill Russell 56.1%, Dwight Howard 56.7%. Some of the best big men to ever play the game.
