Subject: John Gallagher - Class Act

After being dealt one of the most difficult hands in the country and having an extremely difficult season, I wanted to share what I witnessed as I left the KAC tonight. As he was walking off of the court following another tough loss and as the PA announcer made it known that Reggie Witherspoon had just won his 300th D1 game, John Gallagher did an about face (quite apparent he wasn't aware it was win 300) and walked to the other end of the court to hug, congratulate, and share a moment with RW on the milestone. What a class act! This in comparison to the last Manhattan game I attended when lunatic Jose Perez had to be restrained multiple times by Steve Masiello's assistant Scott Padgett as he first tried to fight Akrum Ahemed in the handshake line and then the rest of the Canisius team as they headed to the locker room. Very impressive Coach Gallagher. Good luck the rest of the way sir.
