If there's any hope they would play, why would Coach Witherspoon NOT want them in the lineup, in a contract year?

A contract year lol? Are you kidding? If he gets anything after losing in the MAAC tournament, this place is more of a joke than anyone even believes they are now. He may want them in the lineup so he has a shot at having 301 wins but they don't care obviously. So he knows he's out and they know he's out. It's like somebody who has their house foreclosed on and trashes it on the way out!
