Subject: And then there was a game...

in which RW got schooled by John Dunne - who I have always believed is a good MAAC coach but is 100 games below .500 in his career. Marist got easy and open shots all day - 52.6% from 3 and 56.7% overall from the floor. Threw in a few gimmicky zones but ultimately had no answers. Embarrassing.

Marist took control of the game in the closing minutes of the first half, and in the second half, before you knew it they were up by ten, and it was curtains for the Griffs. Marist was the better team today.

I thought the Griffs got out muscled. We gave up too many open threes from the corner, and offensively our best shooter never could get an open look, ending up with five points. The return of our injured two would obviously make a big difference .
