Subject: ANNOUNCEMENT!

Canisius has announced what was becoming obvious that Taj, Long and Jones are all done for year, whether that has just actually been determined or Canisius is responding to increasing levels of speculation I wonder. In any event a great start to season totally down drain at this point, may be a challenge to win more than one or two more this year and then I guess we see what happens !

What a disastrous season in so many ways. It is almost a relief that it is near the end.

Do you blame them though? Going into this season we all talked about how RW needs to be gone-this was one of the better teams he was able to put together and we started out well, but coaching matters. He/They played exactly like a team with a Lame Duck coach that needs to be gone, and those guys missed enough time they don't need to come back to this sinking ship and lose a year of eligibility. It is the right choice for them both-does it suck for us as fans? Absolutely-but the last 7-8 years have sucked.

There are probably ton of reasons of why we gave the extension a few years back. Hurley was a huge supporter and didn't want to make a change.

This reminds me of Tom Parrotta's last season in 2012. He had a 5-25 record and was in the last year of his contract.

In six seasons as the Griffs' head coach, Parrotta posted a career record of 64-121 and a 30-78 mark in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play.

The team went 5-25 overall and 1-17 in league during the 2011-12 campaign.

When will we ever learn? We repeated the same miscue here.
