Re: 2024coaching carousel -- BM, Wed, February 14 2024, 15:12:29
Upon Holtmann's 2017 hiring, he signed a contract through the 2024-25 season worth $3 million a year. In March 2022, Holtmann agreed to a contract extension that included a $500,000 annual raise and extended his leadership through the 2027-28 season.
The guy has a winning percentage of over 80%.
He won’t be coming to 2001 Main Street any time soon. We do need to make a change. Go Griffs!

Holtmann -- GZ, Wed, February 14 2024, 15:15:40
Holtmann was successful at OSU.
137-86
Over his not-quite seven full seasons with the Buckeyes, Holtmann's teams went 137-86 (61.4%). It's the second-highest win percentage of an Ohio State men's basketball coach over the past 45 years, behind only Matta.

Which is why I said he was too rich for our blood. Again, you really have trouble with reading comprehension.

No you didn't say he is too rich for our blood moron! You said "PROBABLY too rich for our blood" and then went on to say, "but who knows what might happen after the chain reaction begins when his successor is hired."
Why even bring it up then if your first post said he's "too rich for our blood"? I wouldn't post that they should get Calipari and then say he's "too rich for our blood". Makes no sense. You obviously made the post believing there is a potential that they can get Holtmann which is absurd. Write much idiot?

Keep stalking, punk -- left-coast griff, Thu, February 15 2024, 13:51:29
His firing will touch off a domino effect that will impact many programs. Many coaches will change jobs. Who knows if anyone caught in the fallout will have any interest in our job.
Anyone who understands English could figure out that "Probably too rich for our blood" means he's not coming here. But again, reading comprehension isn't your strongpoint.
Being an internet bully and continually violating a big rule in life (don't be a dick) is.
BTW, that kid from Canisius High who you said "would never ever play in DI" is having a nice freshman year at Holy Cross. Which, I believe, is a DI program.

Probably means definite huh? Who new?! Then you are probably a tool!
You have really lofty standards. Ryan is having a nice freshman year? Probably compared to your life he's having an amazing year! 2.8 points and .9 rebounds for an 8-18 team in a horrible conference. Has scored 5 points in the last 8 games. What a stud. Reminds me a lot of you.

Classy, now taking shots at a kid living out his dream of playing DI basketball, something you said he would never do. You just can't help yourself.

Baseball loses opener to Hawks -- left-coast griff, Fri, February 16 2024, 17:09:28
You're the one who said he would "never, ever" be a Division I player. Who's the evaluator?
I'm just happy for him. Very few people play Division I basketball. He is. Did you?
