Devean Williams has now joined the parade of now 9 players in the portal. That leaves only the Maji kid , a walk on, on the roster.

The Buffalo News story today lists prospective candidates but omits both Patrick Beilein and Jordan Fee, whose Gannon team is still playing in the D II Elite Eight. As such Fee may be unavailable to approach until the end of Gannon’s season.

That would be too bad as timeliness is important here if the next coach is able to re-recruit any of the 9 and start recruiting new players. I assume Carter Jackson will withdraw his commitment as well. What a colossal mess.

This is what happens when you don’t do what should have been done. There should have never been an extension. Let the kids walk. Not sure they will all land in a better place with the exception of Tre & Frank.

Staveskie will definitely get higher end offers. Long should have been happy to be where he was.

I honestly don't think Frank will get many if any Power 5 offers. Yes he rebounds at a high rate against primarily physically inferior guys. Horrible free throw shooter. Can't step out and hit from 10-12 feet. He's barely 6'8" and not going to bully and dunk on Power 5 guys. American, A-10, MVC, C-USA, maybe.
