Just FYI I have end stages MD muscular dystrophy with some learning disabilities in my writing which Canisius College gave me more time on tests if I needed it which I never did but if you see my writing it’s pretty obvious. So what I am saying is I don’t talk about my disability because well it’s a sports board and I would rather have sports as an escape from my health problems for a while. But I had to talk about it on a UB board who didn’t know I have disability problems that were critical of my grammar. It doesn’t show up if I am talking to you in person but my writing it definitely shows up and I got tutoring for it by Canisius College one of the reasons I chose to go there. The college was aware of it because I wrote it on my college application that I was disabled in a wheelchair. I am just blessed I am alive today. I have amazed my team of specialist I have a heart doctor, a lung doctor, a urologist and Mobile Primary that comes to my home to check on me because I am considered critical care now and bedridden on 24/7/365 oxygen. My heart and lungs are so far gone they can’t even shock my heart if I ever needed it because my lungs are so badly scarred from two of the worst pneumonia’s you could get in the last 6 years. The second time I was in the hospital 17 days starting on Easter Sunday 4 years ago. I am in and out of the hospital so much everyone knows who I am and I know who they are I have been in the hospital so much. I have had over 100 plus blood tests in a year think about that. I had so many blood tests and lab tests and body scans my little arms where all black and blue. I have almost died 4 times in the last 6 years. In September I was so bad doctors told my mom, my sister and brother in law bring family in to say goodbyes and they had the priest visit me giving me holy communion because they didn’t think my lungs would come back I had a bowl blockage that luckily cleared up without surgery because doctors didn’t think if I went on a ventilator that my lungs would ever come back so I stayed on a bi pap machine at 10 litters of oxygen like a wind turbine in my lungs and they stuck a tube down my throat to drain bile. I am normally on 3 litters of oxygen with a candula. With the help of God, my doctors and nurses. I literally had a miracle the blockage cleared and my lungs returned to there normal functioning that I had. Because I am a fighter who never gives up. I have very high pain tolerance the hospital told me. I can’t take nothing but over the counter Tylenol for pain because l can’t take pain medication it would affect my heart and lungs which would shorten my life so I don’t do that and the doctors don’t recommend the pain medication route. So I suck it up because I want to live you block out and get through MD joint pain. What I have is more cruel mentally because I know what is happening having seen friends die with MD and there is no cure. The sad thing is that is all that is wrong with me all MD related. I don’t have anything else but the things that come with MD. It’s going to cost me most likely 20 years of my life which is what it is. I have have a good life and I have been very blessed my first 50 years of life were really good with the last 6 years struggling but I am very grateful I am alive today. I got to travel to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Orlando and Tampa-St Pete-Clearwater. I am glad I did before my MD got worse. I realize I have been very blessed. But excuse me I don’t really care about my grammar anymore on a sports message board. Just remember this is all temporary you can’t take it with you. My main focus is hanging onto the hand of God and hopefully doing enough good deeds on earth to get into heaven to join my father and brother there someday. I hope that explains why my writing is off grammar wise but your not hurting my feelings or being clever because I am going to get Buffalo Super Fan because of something one might not like that I said about Griffs basketball. Believe me you can’t hurt me I tell it like it is about Griffs basketball. I was in the program daily I have seen how far it’s fallen unless one likes back to back 20 loss seasons and rankings in the 300’s in my opinion. Go Griffs! Let’s Go Buffalo
