Christian is one of the 3 finalists we are meeting this week on campus. Other two are also DI connected.

Jim Christian was the head coach at Ohio University when I was a senior there in 2012/13. He has a great track record at the mid-major level but struggled at his bigger destinations, albeit schools with inherent disadvantages in their leagues at TCU and Boston College.

I think he's a great coach and would be an impressive hire for Canisius if he lands the job.

The thing that sucked with him at Ohio was that he inherited a team that made the Sweet 16 the year before with all of their key players returning and they regressed to the NIT in his first year. He's not exactly a player friendly but is a very smart coach.
