What you are missing is the Bonnies are offering NIL money deals. Look I follow and am a fan of all four Big 4 programs. KAC and the Purple Eagles basketball facilities are terrible as they are not. Reilly Center it isn’t just the Reilly Center is better it’s everything that St Bonaventure University presents college basketball. The banners on television it’s like you are playing in the old Boston Garden with the banners. Just the whole presentation of Bonnies basketball. Why aren’t the Griffs hanging there retired players numbers at KAC. It is just the KAC holds 2,000 fans. Canisius presents KAC like a high school gym would. It’s really that hard to hang Johnny McCarthy number 15 and Ray Halls number 32 along with the great coaches like John Beilein number of Griffs win while at Canisius? I am sorry I will always root for the Griffs basketball team but Canisius is there own worst enemy. I don’t understand why Canisius University can’t take $500 and go to Walmart or Best Buy and buy a Smart HD television set call it Griffins vision to hang on the KAC wall so Griffs fans can finally see replays at the KAC. When I see stuff like that it makes me wonder what is Canisius athletics doing? Canisius alums are quick to say the Griffs will come up with NIL? Forget NIL come up with $500 for a big screen television set for the wall of KAC like Buffalo fans have at their own homes. And we wonder why Buffalo fans won’t go to Griffs basketball games anymore? Things like that doesn’t help or get many to believe in Griffs basketball anymore. I would be surprised and proud of Canisius athletics just doing that hanging a television set on the KAC wall for replays. Because it would show there is still a pulse with Division I basketball at Canisius University in my opinion. Go Griffs! Let’s Go Buffalo

Canisius NIL is set and ready to go. They want to pair it with the naming of a new coach. I don't think a few $500 tv's would have much of a positive impact. Probably the opposite. Ray Hall wore #30.

You are right Ray Hall wore #30 I should know that he works at the same company Ingram Micro as my brother in law. Ray Hall would stop by practice when he wasn’t playing professionally some where basketball once in a while. Just too many Buffalo teams that I follow over the years the last 49 years that I have been a Buffalo fan the names and numbers just blend together. I follow everything Buffalo when I mean everything I talking Buffalo Stalllions, Buffalo Storm, Buffalo Blizzard, Buffalo Stampede and Buffalo Wings roller hockey, Buffalo Destroyers plus multiple Buffalo minor league basketball teams Buffalo Rapids, Buffalo Silverbacks, Buffalo Stampedeand Buffalo Xtreme owned by Darren Fenn a former Griffs player. So the players and names come and go sorry about that in my opinion. Go Griffs! Let’s Go Buffalo

I agree, the TV screen would be one thing that would help make the KAC more attractive, and I'm sure there are other improvement that would make sense. I still maintain that Canisius however must also do some marketing. I would love to see a local radio station do a weekly talk show like WBEN did with John Murphy as host. Let's face it, the local media has almost completely dropped college basketball. The only thing presently is Buffalo Bills/Sabers talk. College basketball at the D1 level is the best game in town. Go Griffs!!!!!
