Subject: Now WE begin

On Thursday the Press meets Jim Christian. Let's hope for a great turnout. US Griff supporters, a turnout of Canisius students ( On yeah, you are important), some faculty (you are too), the Jesuit population isn't what it used to be (that's a sign of the times. One day it will be like old times, let's pray- do you have any idea how important you were to us?). We are now CANISIUS UNIVERSITY, WE are important to the City of Buffalo. Let's start acting like it again. WE have a wonderful leader in President Steve Stoute (by way of Trinidad and Tobago and Chicago).Isn't this where WE can begin to continue beginning building for the future? Guys and Gals with mileage on us, remember SATURDAY NIGHTS AT THE AUD? Father President and a lot of big wig alumni sat at mid-court, just above the student section. Think about that swath of green on E. Delavan and Jefferson or the space Lyons Hall will leave if if must be removed. Imagine then THE EVENTS CENTER. It could be named THE AUD. WE can dream, can't WE?
