It's my understanding that Jim Christian has hired his staff. I would expect an announcement soon. Had a recruit in last week. Two more this week.

I wonder if he has any ex Griffs on the staff? Could be a smart move. These guys know the program and could help to potentially build retention.

Christian hopefully will bring in a whole new staff . No need to retain anyone from the previous regime . There's a new sheriff in town .

Clive is not taking a pay cut to come back to Canisius when he was in consideration for the head job he didn't get. Frank Turner has zero coaching experience. This isn't JV high school basketball where you hire a guy because he has an "interest in coaching". You need to hire guys who have college experience as assistants and strong strong recruiting ties.

I think we should hire Clive and Frank and Jimmy Baron. Change the school name to Beilein University. The mascot from Griffs to Boxers, since John’s wife likes the dog breed. Bring in Darrell Barley’s son too. This will truly bring the NIL rolling and the bluechippers begging to come here. Or just let Coach Christian look to a future without this constant nostalgic nonsense.
