They saw an impressive performnce by him this past weekend in Virginia at the DMV Live event.

The director of the tournament Jeff Kovner on the offer - "Canisius was on the baseline for every game Kani played at DMV Live. The lefty has been steadily producing all Spring for 6th Boro Hoops. Translatable skills that will lead to an impactful career at the next level!"

Originally from Turkey, Topuz also holds an offer from Fordham.
