My understanding now is that there can't be any announced or promotional effort by schools to get people to attend practice but if you happen to stop by while practice is occurring, you are ok to pop in.

Let's see.Eight (8) hours of countable athletically related activities, five (5) days a week during the out of season period. In the Griffs case, Summer Session. The players are enrolled in one or two classes over the five (5) week period. We can reasonably assume those are scheduled in the morning to early afternoon (1:00 P.M. tops) because PhD's like some free time in the summer for family, personal and academic activities other than teaching.That suggests the countable athletically related activities will take place in the afternoon either two (2) hours a day on four (4) days or one point six (1.6) hours a day on 5 days. Thanks to Griff's excellent presentation on this board we know what all the new players look like. We already know the others. So some of us could sit in the KAC parking lot,starting around 12:00 P.M., waiting for players to arrive. We can learn when practice will be occurring routinely during Summer Session. Once we learn the routine, we can just "pop in". Or no one has to do that and just get lucky. The foregoing is the product of a Jesuit education. Go Griffs and St. Peter Canisius, pray for us. Don't worry recruits you really do get an excellent education at Canisius. And Buffalo is a great place to get it.

Excellent analysis! Yes. In the wisdom of the NCAA, you can now have a kid earning six figures, but you can't announce to or organize for fans when a two hour summer practice will take place. Amazing.
