Subject: Great Atmosphere

I am new to the Buffalo area and friend invited me to the game yesterday. It was a fun time and great atmosphere. Are all games at Canisius like that? It looks like you could have a good team. I am excited about coming to more games.

We would love for it to be like that all of the time but the short answer is no. In the past, there have been periods when the atmosphere has been terrific and the hope is that with the new coaching staff and administrative hires, we can get back to those days sooner rather than later. We would love for you to be part of that movement! Welcome and Go Griffs!

Welcome to our board New Guy. There have been changes in the coaching staff and personnel that should help keep that kind of atmosphere throughout the season. Glad to have another Golden Griffin fan.

You are right, the atmosphere was great, and I wish this could be the case all season long. Unfortunately this is not going to happen since half of the fans at the Bona game were there to support Bona. I think the attendance at the next game vs Brown will be a better indication of support for the Griffs. I'm hoping that the turnout is decent. For some reason, Canisius athletic has become a big secret. GoGriffs!!!!

Might this be a good time to start putting the Cage Club back together or something like it? How about a post season banquet with MBB and WBB together? Wonder about a student component.
