Subject: Diego Pavia Case

So to make a real long story short, Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia was granted an injunction today which basically says that JUCO years do not count towards a player's four years of eligibility as an NCAA athlete. If this stands and ultimately applies to all NCAA athletes, it would mean that 25 year old Jas Sangha has eligibility remaining...

The case is likely to be appealed but doesn't sound like there will be a ruling prior to next season so players impacted will likely be able to play unless something comes out of left field.

Also read that they don't think the NCAA has a great chance of overturning the current ruling.
