If the name looks familiar, the Canisius staff wanted to bring him in last year from Sauk Valley CC but there was an issue with classes that would transfer. He ended up at Wayland Baptist (NAIA) where he averaged 8.2 points and 7.4 rebounds a game. The credit situation has apparently been resolved and he is now in the portal and the Griffs are showing interest. At 6'8" 225 lbs. he would definitely provide some muscle in the post that they sorely missed this season. It appears he is garnering a little more interest this time around. Has a visit set up to Louisiana-Monroe and has also heard from Western Michigan and Texas A&M CC. This is one worth watching.
