Re: Carter Jackson in the Portal -- New Griff Fan, Tue, March 25 2025, 13:02:27
It’s funny how everyone on here is 100% incorrect. Jackson was RW guy and the current staff never gave him a fair shake. I can’t stand when grown people don’t have a clue and say what ever comes to mine. I have seen practice footage where he dominates the starters daily. The reality of this situation is the current Regime wanted to cut ties with anyone that had RW times.

Yeah ok they redshirted a kid who dominated in practice. Because that's what coaches do is not play their best players. Please stop. You sound like a Little League parent who goes around telling everyone your kid is the best player on the team but the coach won't play him.

JB no matter who it sounds it doesn’t make it any less true. Griff isn’t the only one who can get information about the program. The Reality of the situation is redshirting Jackson and Easterling was a horrible decision. And yes the reason why we were terrible and will continue to be is a coach is outdated and can’t relate to the player’s. As much as we complained about RW win or lose we never thought his teams weren’t competing hard.

Well you saying it dosn't make it true either. Why on earth would they redshirt him and not play him if he was dominating in practice? And don't say because he was RW's guy. If he was that good, it wouldn't matter if Nick Macarchuk recruited him, he would have played.
And yes there were many times when I didn't feel RW's guys were playing hard. The best example was allowing two guys to not only not play hard but fake injuries and not play at all in order to sabotage a season because they all knew Reggie was getting fired.
