Sad to hear the news from St.Francis Pa. I went down there a couple of times when the Griffs played. The Maurise Stokes Field House is truly a great college basketball facility. It holds about 4 thousand , and has a nice concession area overlooking the court. Jack Twyman, NBA Hall of Famer, and team mate of Stokes was responsible for building this facility. Twyman, by the way was a room mate of Johnny Mc Carthy, the year John played for the Rochester Royals. And how about the success that Jim Baron enjoyed as coach down there. Mike Isalino, who was an assistant for Baron when he led the Griffs was a great player for St. Francis.
