Subject: Vegas Evans

Griffs showing interest in 6'8" Vegas Evans from Texas Wesleyan (NAIA). Originally from Brampton, ON. Averaged 11.5 points and 4.7 boards this past season. Also hearing from Siena, Holy Cross, Stetson, UNC-Greensboro, and many others.

More like 6’6” and not good enough for D1, physically or mentally.

This would be his fourth LEAGUE in four years, not just team. He’s really looking to go from JuCo to USports to NAIA to NCAA.

Suspended a couple times this year, one for conduct detrimental to team. Not what you want for a new culture change. He's attached to a group in Toronto, Radr Sports Group, that have coaches set up at various levels (Ali at LIU, Ali at Arizona State, Abdi at a Div 2, Mohamed at Ontario Tech...) and will probably head to whatever those guys tell him again. He has played 4 years, so needs the 5th-year-for-all to pass first.
