T'kaal smiled a greeting at Ralek, and his smile was also meant to reassure her. 'Nothing life-threatening, thank the Egg for that. But it does pose some problems, it does.' He took a swig of klah as if to give him some extra energy for a potential crisis, though he wasn't really expecting quite that. Drawing in a calming breath, he continued, 'The two riders are Y'mir, rider of green Meredith, and K'rvike, whose lifemate is blue Jarenth. Their dragons have expressed quite a deep affection for each other, and it is Shay's and my opinions that this is a serious attachment. After all, Taliath's clutch is long since matured, so we cannot shrug this off as youthful whim. Although greens can be fickle at times, Meredith seems to have a singular attraction towards this blue. This would not cause a problem, of course, but for the simple fact that such a pairing has not been heard of for many a Turn, not since last Pass, I believe, and even by then it was growing rarer.' He sighed deeply and rested his forehead against his palm, with his elbow settled on the table. He stared at the tabletop for a long while, noticing for the first time the delicate swirls adorning it, but finally he glanced up. 'And obviously we cannot merely keep this a secret. Have you any ideas?'

[[OOC note: I have not had this plot confirmed by any of the 'big-wigs' if you will, and it hasn't been announced to the general public (thank Faranth...) so it would be easy enough to discard / discredit it, if you deem it unwise. I suppose it's partly an expression of my opinion on gay rights, and partly I feel that having same sex weyrmates is no any less PG-13 than heterosexual ones. That is my reasoning, and also there is the point that, since males Impress both blues and greens, something of the kind is bound to pop up sometime. Anyhow, I've spoken my piece. Just like me to do something like this without the Weyrwomens' permission... Sigh.]]
